I'm sorry to here of your father's passing Camille. I remember him from those many years ago we were friends.

What a man, Dan! Holding the utmost admiration and respect for him. I always enjoyed being in his presence and engaging in thought-provoking conversation. What I will always cherish is Dan's character, his generosity, his authenticity, and his bold and audacious manner of speaking and defending his truth. He was a tower of inner spiritual power. Well done, faithful servant!

Dan, your love for this country was as strong as all the action you took to make sure our country, city and state was preserved in Constitutional Dignity! You didn't just talk the talk, you WALKED the WALK! Your belief in me and my work meant so much. When you and Ida came to the school to support me and my program, I was soo incredibly touched! THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNWAVERING SUPPORT FOR ALL THAT IS WONDERFUL ABOUT AMERICA and THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE GIVEN!!! You will be soooo sooooo missed!!!!

Dan was the best friend to all who met him... and a good Christian man.
He was a great teacher in the Republican Party.
He & Ida wonderful people..
He was like family... I will miss him.

I met Dan on the 4th of July 2012 in PV. My wife and I were introduced to Dan & Ida by Al Han. I have the greatest respect and admiration for those who served in WW II, the Greatest generation for saving the world. I met Dan on the 4th of July 2012 in PV. My wife and I were introduced to Dan & Ida by Al Han. Hispanics are by nature conservative minded and Dan felt they just needed to hear the truth.
When Dan and I exchanged ideas I realized that this man's dream must come to pass and I am going to be part of this dream and organization.
On September 30th 2012 we met for lunch and Dan had the name picked for his organization "God & Country" , I looked at Dan and said I am in.
When Dan went home I was saddened that I only had three months with this giant of a man and he will be sorely missed.
I can only say I will miss Dan Carasso but I will do everything that I can to make "God & Country" part of his Legacy. Semper Fi. Rich

My Father, Cliff McQueen, has deep and fond memories of his Boy Scout days with Dan. Dan was a strong role model for my Dad and helped lay the foundation for his values, patriotism, dedication to self-reliance and a strong work ethic. He held Dan in the greatest regard and tried to visit every time he came to California. Dan attended Cliff's 80th Birthday celebration in Las Vegas and Dad was thrilled that he was able to make the trip!

On Dad's last visit, we stopped off to visit Dan but just missed him by minutes and we were sorry to have missed him. He will be greatly missed but always remembered. Blessings to his family and the knowledge that the world is a better place for his having lived and touched the lives of so many. Peace to him and his resting place in the hands of God.

His untireless work to bring Hispanics into the Republican mainstream was one of his lifetime goals. I worked on his Assembly races and we were roommates at the RNC National Convention in 1976 in Kansas City, as representatives of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly of California

His untireless work to bring Hispanics into the Republican mainstream was one of his lifetime goals. I worked on his Assembly races and we were roommates at the RNC National Convention in 1976 in Kansas City, as representatives of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly of California and of the National Committee. He contributed to my campaign for the LA Community College Board in 1981 and also became involved in my first campaign for the U.S. Congress in the 30th CD, in the SGV, in the Special Election in 1982 and again when I ran in 1988. When I worked for Governor Deukmejian as Administrator of the CA Division of Industrial Accidents, now the Division of Workers’ Compensation, Dan performed many private investigations for me on behalf of the State of California workers’ compensation system. Dan worked tirelessly and always with personal conviction in his personal and political activities. Dan worked hard on behalf of many candidates and many became personal friends, including Governor Deukmejian and Governor Wilson. Dan contributed to any candidate who shared his political views of limited Constitutional Government.

Dan and Ida were life-long friends and, although we frequently were at odds on various issues and candidates, we always maintained a close friendship until his death. In the last few years and more frequently over the last few months, we frequently went to lunch and always discussed politics and his business.

Dan and the Republican Party will miss his smile, boisterous and convincing political attitude and his commitment to Republican values. He will be sorely missed.

Actions speak louder than words. And Dan always acted on his beliefs, was always involved in the Republican party, was always making a difference.
May he find peace and justice in God's heavenly kingdom.

Dear Dan, thanks for for the many memories and exciting experiences. There never was a dull moment. You taught me the value of kindness. You were one special, intelligent and honest man. A great patriot, dedicated to the principles of Americanism and goodness. The world won't be the same without you Dan, may God bless you and Rest In Peace.
