Hello
I recently learned of Mr. Singley's passing, and wanted to express my deepest condolences.
My name is Mark Singley, son of Willard Jr., grandson of Willard Singley Sr. (I never met him, he passed before I was born.) I have two sisters, Carol and Nancy Singley both of Annapolis, Maryland.
I hope it's appropriate to write to you in this way here. I thought it would be alright.

Words cannot express how blessed I am to have had a Pop-Pop like mine for the past 20 years of my life. Although no amount of time would ever feel like long enough, I will definitely miss having him answer the phone, starting the conversation with "Is this my number one girlfriend?", and always ending it with "Now, you're sure you don't need anything?" He would always look at me and say "What do you think?" and although my answer

For the past 64 years I have had you in my life to guide me, love me unconditionally, and hold my hand through the good and bad times. I could not have had a better Dad. I love you Daddy!

I was saddened to learn of Mr. Singley's death. Mr. Singley was a great father and husband. It was an honor to have known him and his family.

As I transition into my adulthood and professional life over these next few years, I couldn't possibly ask for a better role model to follow. He was one of the most loving and giving people I will ever know and I'm truly thankful for the 23 years we shared together. I only hope to take the advice and wisdom he has bestowed upon me and follow in his footsteps; a better life could not possibly be lived. I love you Pop-Pop.

You had a wonderful life George with a great family to take care of you during your final days. You were a great leader and I know that first hand from all the R&D programs that you led me through over the years at TRECOM, AVLabs, USAMRDL, etc. All the miles that we traveled together: e.g.; AMC, OCRD, DESRDA, WPAFB, Edwards AFB and more.
Rest in Peace George...you did your part and then some.
For Jean, George III and other family

George was an outstading leader at AVLABS, and I was proud to serve with him until his retirement. Many years later, I again was reaquaintes with George through the AVLABS/AATD Real Old Friends monthly luncheon at the Yorktown Pub. He will be remembored in my prayers.
