It is a privilege to have known John Reed. Although we will miss him dearly, I can't help but know that he has Jesus in a bear hug right now with his head laying on Jesus's left shoulder. John loved Jesus with all his heart and that came shining through in his daily life. Tom and Judy McCann

You could search the world and not find a more gentle man. John had a child-like faith and a true servant's heart, as well as my respect. He is now safe and secure in the presence of his loving Savior Jesus Christ who undoubtedly said "well done good and faithful servant." He is sitting at the feet of almighty God Himself and celebrating a glorious reunion with other saints of Westside Nazarene who have gone on before him.

To Monty and the Reed Family,
We are so sorry for yet another loss. May God give you comfort. Know that you are in the prayers of many, many friends.
The community has truly lost a good man. John was such a kind and gentle soul. He always had positive things to say about anyone or anything. It was a pleausure to have known him. Rest easy, John, in the loving arms of Jesus.

I was heartbroken when I learned of John's passing. He and Monty are my Sunday morning constants. I always knew they would be sitting 2 rows ahead of us during church and I always knew that after church we would see them at Monical's having their usual lunch. John truly had a heart for The Lord and he used it to help those who needed it. John was always a giver! My thoughts and prayers go out to Monty and the rest of your family.

Please accept my most sincere condolences and prayers for you all. John will be sorely missed, still hard to grasp. He was always so polite and good-natured. I loved to joke with him and he was such a great sport, it was lots of fun.
God's great peace to you all.
