Coach Stevens left an indelible mark on me and changed the trajectory of my life. I am going to miss him terribly as will countless others. Mrs. Jeanine and Billy we can all take comfort in knowing that he is in Heaven and watching over us all.

I'm very sad. Bill was a good friend. I'll miss his jokes and his political emails, miss his occasional letter, seeing him at reunions............and just knowing he was down the road in Lufkin probably playing golf. He was a "glass half full" guy..........a very special person........a good man. He will be sorely missed .
Love to his family and his adored wife, Jeannine. May God comfort them.

Bill will always be in my thoughts and prayers. He was a wonderful and patient "teacher", even to the nurses who cared for him. Hugs to you and your family Jeannine.

My sincere condolences to the Stevens family and may you find comfort and strength in the great memories you have of him. Remember he is never gone as he is always with you in heart and spirit. May God wrap his arms around you during this difficult time and hold you close. God needed another wonderful Angel to help him... and his name was Bill. Many prayers are coming your way. Sincere condolences and prayers for comfort and peace to the Stevens families. Bill was a customer, mentor and friend during my early years in the business world.
I always enjoyed every oppurtunity to get together with 'Coach' and his compadres. Bill was definitely one of a kind and the smile I get when I think about him telling one of his famous stories will leave indelible mark in my memories.
Til we meet again ,

Regarding my memory entry, my sincere apologies for the typing error, should have said Mr. Bill Stevens.
Rest in Peace Bill.

Saddened by Bills passing. We knew him at family events. He could eat, drink, dance, and boy could he talk. A fun guy.
Now my email inbox will suffer.
Fond memories are the most consoling at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with family and friends.
