I remember meeting Maria when Mattie and my daughter Erin were in kindergarten. They had become best friends by time they were in first grade. Maria and I were talking one day and found out her brother Stanley and my sister Anne had been friends through high school, what a small world. Unfortunately the girls went to different schools after elementary school and lost touch. Maria was such a sweet caring woman who cared about family and friends! I

I just wanted to share one of my favorite memories with you. Do you remember the day your Mom, you two, Sara, Nick and I went tubing at the park? I went down the hill, hit mud and flipped right over -right out of "America's funny videos"-or whatever that show is. I thought for sure your Mom would be running down the hill to make sure I was OK (which I was) -because she was so caring- but
