I didn't know uncle Roy as well as I wish I had, but I do remember him very fondly. I wish I had known him better. I am glad to think that he is finally living in unmitigated joy with our Lord.

Blessings on all of the rest of the family.

I knew Roy for many years and worked with him at National Vinegar. He was a hard worker, proud of his family and looked forward to retiring back home in Kentucky. I am glad to see that he was able to enjoy many years of what looks like a happy retirement. Having been gone from Alton for 20+ years, I still look at the Telegraph to see who may have passed on. My sincere sympathy to his family for their loss. Roy was a "good guy" and I'm sure will be missed by many.

Uncle Roy will be missed...Such a wonderful man. I always loved listening to his stories of when he worked at the vinegar factory :) walking in his garden with him as he would show us his watermelons and would share them with all the family... I will cherish the time I got to spend with him and the wonderful memories... May he rest in the arms of the Lord...

Carolyn, Nita and family, i am so sorry to hear of your dads passing. He was such a plesant man, always a smile and kind words. He would stop by our shop and visit for a while when we were not busy and always a joy to talk to. I know he will be greatly missed. Our thought and prayers are with you.
