The Christmas memories forever live within me. Mama has the Christmas tree decorated beautifully & soon there will be the aroma of our favorite cocktail wienies, sausage balls, cheese balls, monster cookies & chex mix too. It's your 1st Christmas in heaven, and the only thing we will be missing is You! I pray to hear your laughter, and long to feel your joy on Christmas Eve. Your presence we will miss, but the "Love" you've given our family is the greatest gift I've ever received. Thank You Daddy!!!

Four months has passed since my Daddy was laid to rest. There are so many things He taught me over the years. I was fortunate to have lived at home with Mama, Daddy, and my Brother for two years before he passed away. One morning, I was complaining about being sore from a new part time job. Daddy told me to stop complaining and be "Thankful" because God woke me up and gave me another day. I knew He was right! Today I am so very Thankful for ALL things & try my best to complain MUCH Less!!!

I am so very Thankful for my 3 older sisters!!! Donna, Becky, & Marie & Little brother Bo!!! My Mama was pregnant once again & my Daddy told me if it was a little girl, I would no longer be the "Baby girl" anymore...But if it was a boy, I would still be his "Baby girl!" God gave our Family a BOY! Little did I realize just how much I would Learn from each Sister & felt so much Joy to finally have a Brother!!! Thank you God for Your Blessings!!!

This is one of my stories that my mom loves to tell.
I followed my Daddy around on his heels when he was home. He loved to be outdoors and so did I. I adored kicking around with him and watching him do his chores. I was only about 2 or 3 and when he mowed grass he made me stay on the porch. One day when he was mowing grass he suddenly turned off the mower and pulled it to

My daddy was known for his kindness to others. The only time he could say no was if it went against God's word. He believed in working hard for what you got & was willing to do whatever it took to make his way. Daddy taught me to be a giver not a taker and when life gets tough to hang in there cause it can't stay that way forever. He believed in God first, family next & whatever after

Hey Daddy.... I haven't been able to see you in your favorite recliner. I haven't been able to see you mowing the grass with your silly hat on and suncreen on your nose that "I know" mama made you put on. I haven't been able to drive up then walk up and talk to you about your garden as you water it. I haven't been able to call you and have you make me smile by some crazy comment you

I'm just so very sorry that the family has to go through the loss of this wonderful man. My thoughts have been with my Aunt Hattie and my cousins off and on these last few days (especially today), and I want you to know how much we all really genuinely loved Uncle Don. Mona, Bob and I.. We've all reminisced and talked about what fun he was to be around. And I know he was a very good man. I

To the family:
I know that one day we all will be together again in Heaven. GOD has chosen to take Don home and we must accept that and continue on living with each moment and day we are blessed with. Be at peace knowing that Don was ready for his heavenly home and we must also prepare ourselves to do the same as one day we all will gather together again in that heavenly home. My prayers are with all
