When I think of Angela, we're still 12 years old at Arlington Junior High School in Jacksonville, Fl. She lived near the school and on many days, I walked to Angela's house with her and her foster sister, Weenie to hang out until my mom got off work. There was always lots of life and activity there. Lots of positive energy, music and the presence of God at work through her mom and dad. We were a little on the wild side at times, but eventually the presence of God became evident in our own lives, proving how our parents impact our own lives through their examples. I know that Angela impacted her children, grandchildren and sibling(s) in the same positive way and that she will be greatly missed by them and everyone else who knew her. The last time I actually saw Angela was at her fathers funeral many years ago. We sang a song that either she or her father wrote and Angela played the guitar. I can picture them singing together now, and God smiling at the beautiful sound. My eyes are filled with tears, but my heart is filled with joy for knowing you, Angela and for being reconnected with you in recent years on Face Book. God's peace to you and your family.

R.I.P. Angela. You have meant so much and impacted so many in your lifetime. Your smile was contagious, enduring and could always be counted on to brighten anyone's day. Take solace in knowing that no one will forget you and they will take lessons from your life into their own. Thank you, Angela. I love you.
