Another fine Almont teacher has passed away. I knew her primary as a favorite substitute teacher & a close neighbor.

Mrs Pilarski was the best teacher I ever had.
She was always a smiling face even on my worst days.
I just found out that she passed away and I am in shock.
She will be missed. But she will live on in the hearts of her students who loved her.
I will never forget you Mrs Pilarski! Not ever!

Thank you Mrs. P for being there for me. You have taught me so many things besides English. When my brother died you were there for me and cried right with me. You taught me to see the good on everybody, even though at times I need you to point it out to be. I don't think you realize how many people you have touched with your kind loving ways. All I had to do was tell u good morning

You will be missed dearly. You were one of my favorite teachers at Almont. You always had a smile on your face! Sad to hear of your passing but you are in a better place!

Mrs. Pilarski was an inspirational teacher to me in high school. She taught me to write, edit, and research. I credit her with my success in college, graduate school, and my career in many ways.
She introduced me (and so many classmates!) to great authors like Toni Morrison, Cormac McCarthy, and Shakespeare.
And she did it all fearlessly, confidently, and dressed better than any other Almont teacher.
You will be missed, but remembered always, Mrs. P.
