I so wanted to be at the service...What a wonderful man Bob was! He was always the model of integrity and hard work but knew how to also infuse life with fun. He was the first mentor I ever had in the newspaper business and I will forever be indebted to him for being my champion at The Macomb Daily. I got to also work with his children Sue and Bill at The News and Free Press and could tell

My condolences to the entire Brisse family. Fond memories of Mr. Brisse, including when he would drive us all around the Detroit area where we would then sell subscriptions to the Detroit News, followed always by pizza at the Brisse home on Friday nights.

Dear Brisse Family,,

So sorry to hear of Bob passing. He was a true friend and mentor to those of us who had the privilege of working with him at The News. He was very thoughtful and loving to his family and friends. Bob will be missed by all. We apologize for not being able to for not being able to express our condolences in person.

My deepest condolences to Bob's family. We grew up in the newspaper business together, starting as jumpers at the Detroit Times. I followed Bob into Advertising at The Detroit News. He was responsible for getting me to go To The University of Detroit after our days in the military. I never knew a better salesman or a more caring and helpful person. He will be in my prayers.

To the Brisse Family, Bill, Sue, Diane and everyone else. I first met your dad in 1982 when I joined The Detroit News. He was a dynamic executive in a tremendous advertising department. I always enjoyed seeing and talking with him and I'm thankful that part of my career overlapped with his at The News. Awesome families happen because or great parents and grand parents. I know that Mr. Brisse was both. My Best Wishes to you all.

Dear Sue and Brisse family,
I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your Dad. He was a special person and just a terrific guy. Although I have not seen him in years, I fondly remember him and the old Detroit News days. I feel lucky to have known him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dearest Cynthia and Family: We've no words to say that can possibly minimize the sorrow you must all feel.

Bob was one of those people that you meet and then feel as if you'd known him your whole life. We so enjoyed those trips on the boat and spending winters together in Florida. We were always amazed at how such an intelligent guy could never figure out whether he should play golf right or left handed. But we played and enjoyed
