I still fondly remember riding horses out at your place in Linton when we were kids. We didn't know how to ride well but you gently suggested how to stay on the horses and how to treat them well after we came back in.

I am very sad to hear about your mother's death. You do not know me. But my family and her family were neighbors on the farm. So we saw each other often. Then, your mom and I went to grade school, high school and college together. 16 years! I saw your mom and dad about seven years ago at my dads funeral. Your grandma and grandpa in Linton always kept me updated about your mom, and your family. My husband

We are sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing while we are in Portugal/Spain. We certainly would attend her mass and burial if able to, but we won't be returning home until April.

Marilyn will be missed by us. She was always fun to speak with and one of the nicest ladies we knew. Without a doubt she is now enjoying the rewards of a life well led.

All the best to you, Uncle Ervin, and your children, please give them our condolences and love.

May the peace of God be with you and your families at this time of sorrow. Marilyn was such a kind and gentle spirit. What a wonderful lady, teacher and co-worker. She taught me to be patient with kids. She had such a big heart. Bless you all.

My heart aches for you all, but it is Shari Pazie said "She has gone before us." We will see Marilyn again. I can remember running into her and Ervin many times in Elgin at the cafe when I worked for the newspaper, or when I'd go visit my grandparents. She was the sweetest lady, and is someone whose gentle ways will be missed by many. Hold her memories dear! May she rest in peace, and may the Lord wrap you all in the comfort of his embrace during this time.
