Memories & Candles
I have fond memories of Gwen Delle. She was a kind and wonderful teacher. The ballet studio was my home away from home when I was young for so many years. Gwen Delle was so sweet. She always made me feel like a part of the group.
Thank you for the memories, Gwen Delle!

What fond memories I have of Gwen Delle and Joseph as they were the parent figures of my childhood. Being away from my own parents, at 14 to dance with their company, was an adventure of its own. I can see now, how God used each of them as key instruments to nurture, develop and oversee me into the person I am today. Gwen Delle could always see when I needed that motherly time, touch or even a smile. Thank

My heart is broken. This world has lost a bright light with the passing of GwenDelle. All of my memories of her are flooding back - at Skidmore in the summer program, hanging with Felix and Elizabeth, gossiping on the phone, dancing together in Sleeping Beauty, and working closely together with you all during my time in New Orleans. I pray that she is at peace and with God, and that all who she left here in Earth can share

I can't even fathom her not being here with Mr. Joseph! When I moved to Slidell from Metairie 21 years ago, I couldn't believe that Slidell had a Giacobbe Academy of Dance studio. I was thrilled since after 4 sons I finally had a daughter, who wanted to dance! And where else would I send her, but to the studio who taught me and my 2 sisters from 1969-1988.
I love Ms. Gwen Delle, Mr. Joseph, Ms. Maria and

It's been a while, and I want to let you know that you and your family and friends and everyone at the academy have been in my thoughts and prayers with the recent passing of Mrs. Gwen Delle. Dancing with you a few years back is still what I consider some of my favorite years of ballet, and she influenced those years hugely. I will always appreciate everything she did for us students. I hope you find comfort in

Dear Joseph, many years have passed since we have been in touch, but I was still so saddened to hear of Gwen Delle's passing. You and Gwen Delle were such a huge part of my life for so long. All of my formative years. You were both a wonderful influence and I treasure my memories of Giacobbe's and the Delta Festival Ballet. Gwen Delle was a beautiful dancer and always such a support for all that went on. When I

Dear Mr.Joseph,Miss Maria and the Giacobbe Dance family,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you all at this difficult time. When I think of Giacobbe Academy of Dance I smile because all of my memories of the 8 years I danced there were happy, good times of my youth. Even though I did not continue my dancing beyond grade school it was some of the best experiences of my life. The Giacobbe's are good people and Miss Gwen Delle will live on through them.
