Memories & Candles
Wendell, you will truly be missed......Our last conversation was how you kept someone from breaking into my house with your shotgun, of course it took a shot over the guy's head to realize you wasn't joking about staying still & the time you took care of a big dog that about killed my dog Max. You were a great neighbor & true friend. You were a man of your word, something a lot of people could learn nowadays. We had

It pains me to learn of Mr. Smith's passing. I have bought two Australian Shepherds from him. I did not know him well, but I always enjoyed stopping by and visiting with him. Not knowing him long, we would sit for the longest time trying to see what friends we might have in common. I will remember him as an honest and happy man. He was one of the good guys who are few and far between. I offer my condolences to his friends and family. God bless you all.

I went to school with Wendell. As many others have said, Wendell was a friend to everyone he met. My parents were friends with his back when we were all in high school and his brother, Mike, hung out at our house a lot. I wil miss him at future class reunions. I know his family and many friends will miss him even more.

Wendall was a friend to all! I don't think I've ever known anyone that had touched so many people's lives in one way or another. There were no age barriers for him; He loved his friends and family, young & old alike.
I know that he loved my precious son-in-law, daughter and grand kids; Stacy & Carissa. He was so dear to them and his passing has left a hole in their hearts. Wendell had special gift that drew poeple to
