Every so often I would search the net to see if I could find out where Jack was and what he was doing. I was so sorry to see that he had passed. In spring 1970 I was lucky enough to student teach under him at John Marshall school in South Bend. 43 years later I am still teaching, and I owe so much of what I have been and what i have experienced and what I have learned as

I played for Coach Disler at Lasalle HS in the mid 1980's. He was the first organized basketball coach I had - a lot of good memories of that time, and of Coach Disler. Condolences to his family - God speed Coach.

Deepest sympathy and prayers to the entire Disler Family. I really enjoyed having "coach Disler" at SB Central. He led us to the freshman city basketball Championship in 75-76. The last class to attend SB Central. Always positive, uplifitng and made the game fun. A class act and a great man.

Jack Dishler was my Teacher, Coach and most of all, my friend. Mr. Dishler didn't like any food or gum in his class room but Eric & I always had peanuts, we used to put the shells under another students desk. When Coach Dishler was the JV Basketball Coach, I remember he would bring Blaine to the games and practices helping me with my duties as manager for both Varsity & JV squads. You will be missed Mr. D. My heart and prayers go out to your. God Bless

Hey Bro. I've been searching for the right words to put here. I remember all the great times we had together...visiting Dad together in the last years of his life...test driving all kinds of cars together was always fun. When I was still working, I remember that you once flew into Orlando & then we drove to Key West; another time you flew into New Orleans to meet me; You drove to Atlanta & Chicago so we could spend time
