Memories & Candles
I had the privilege some 20 years ago to work with Cotton on his radio show on KURM. He was not just an expert on horsey stuff, but an overall great man with a story for every situation. Knowing him changed me a bit (I think for the better, but he was Cotton! ). My prayers are with your family, and I am sure that he is sitting at the feet of The Father today, spinning a yarn or telling a story. It will be good to see him again!

There was only one Cotton! I will never forget his laugh or the encouragement he gave to all of us at the barrel races. Loved seeing his big smile at the back of the alleyway. He touched so many lives and will be greatly missed.

I worked with Cotton in the salebarns at Decatur and Siloam Springs back in the day.
Was a joy to work with and loved the reins
he made. Got us to go on the wagon train too. Will be missed in lots of ways that he
had in making us all smile. Prayers and
comfort to the family. Angela Walker, Gravette,AR

Cotton was a "daddy" to all of us who knew him and he was always happy. He loved all of us growing up, encouraged us, yelled at us and when asked you asked him " How are you?" He replied " YOU TELL ME!!With a wink and a smile...
The words "Get out of the pen" are his call sign that will never be forgotten by anyone that herd them in the rodeo arena...
He also made handmade reins.. "Daddy
