Memories & Candles
Gunnie and Ralph were wonderful backyard neighbors, to my parents, Shirley and Gerald. Mom was always honored when Gunnie asked her to water the houseplants while on vacation! Mom sends her condolences to you from Sylvania, OH, where she lives near my brother.

Our deepest sympathy to all of you. We wish we could have been there but we are in Cleveland Clinic while Denny is recovering from leukemia and bone marrow transplant. Gunnie was a very special person to us.

I was the organist at St. Paul Lutheran in Alliance during the early 80’s. I have a great memory of an Easter Day dinner at Ralph and Gunnie’s home with the Kile family. It was a wonderful celebration and I visit that memory every Easter. To Nancy, Dave, Jeff and Steve: Gunnie’s invitation for that Easter Day left quite an impression on me, and I know she created many memories for each of you. May those memories always bring you cheer and comfort. ~Tim Short – St. Paul, MN

We are so sorry to hear of Gunnie's passing. Since she moved from Belleflower we have missed her Christmas cookies. Now we will miss her hug and warm smile as well. Our sincere sympathies to her family.

Dear Dick, Whenever I visited Alliance, I stopped in Hillcrest for pies and ham loaf. Always greeted by the smiles of Mr. and Mrs. Hunt. I enjoyed laughing with them about me pulling you across the stage in your cotton ball coat.
I'm sorry for your loss. Fondly.
