Memories & Candles
Gayle-Ijust learned of Jason's passing and I am so, so, so sorry. A mother should never bury a child! I will always remember our times on Montecrest when the kids were young. Please know that Darrin and Laurie send their sympathy also. My heart goes is full of sorrow and I pray memories will sustain you during this most difficult time.

Jason was an amazing young man. He was the kind of person that when you
first met him, you felt like you knew him your entire life. Always smiling,
and could not do enough for you. We worked on my garden for many years,
and I will always have such wonderful memories of our long conversations.
I always told him that we was the son that i never had,. He will be truly missed,
Rest In Peace!!

Jason to us had two priorities in his work lifeâmake certain each customer was 100% happy with the services that Surrounds provided and to make Surrounds the most sought-after landscape company in Northern Virginia. Because of his empathy for his customs and dedication to the company we often wondered when he slept because he was always there for us. For example, when the hurricane struck last year, he was there the next day with his workers cleaning up the fallen

Jason was a big part of my life when I lived in northern Virginia. He cooked some great meals for me and I always enjoyed our conversations about music and alternative healing. It is heart breaking to hear he is gone. I wish peace and healing to his family at this time. Know that he touched the lives of many people and he will be missed.

I have not seen Jason in several years, but was very saddened to hear of his passing. I will always remember his quick smile and that he always had a kind word for people. The world will be a less vibrant place without him.
My thoughts are with his family at this terrible time.

You were a very special person in my life as you know. We had amazing memories together. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to spend as much time as we did.
I will miss your laugh, smile, and generosity.
A big hug from down here.

I have fond memories of Jason being around my home with Christopher Long, my son, and the other "guys" from QO. He was always so pleasant, polite and a gifted conversationalist - even with a parent. He reached out to our family when we had a very tragic health event and even visited the hospital and brought flowers - something I found very thoughtful and touching for a teenage boy to do. There are no words that are comforting at

Jason was such an exceptional young man. I met him in 2007 when he began helping me with our gardens in McLean. A friendship grew from that experience and we had many wonderful conversations about plants, California, art, and life over the next six years. One of my fondest memories of Jason is walking the HIgh Line with him - an urban, elevated garden in NYC- and sharing in his excitement over the incredible design and plants. The world was a better place with Jason - he will be missed.
