I loved Señor Aulph. Whenever I had a bad day he would cheer me up. I was very shy in 6th grade, but Mr. Aulph changed that. He gave me that courage to put myself out there! I would have never thought I would like to be called "turkey" but when he called me that I took it as a compliment. He wasn't just a teacher. He was one of my best friends, and everyday I looked forward to going to his class!

It's been so awesome to read all of the memories and condolences left by students affected by Señor Aulph. Most are from students who had him pretty recently, but I first had him almost 10 years ago (which makes me feel super old). Even after all this time, I still consider him one of the most influential teachers I've ever had. I am now in my junior year of college, and I had been thinking about Mr. Aulph a lot

Mr. Aulph always called me Fergie, he rarely ever called me William. One day he looked at me with a straight face and said, "Fergie, I can't remember your first name." Whenever I think of Mr. Aulph I will remember this moment and smile. My sympathies to the Aulph family.

I know how much Mr. Aulph enjoyed Reese Peanut Butter cups so tomorrow in honor of him I'm going to wear an orange Reese shirt. I think about all of the great memories that I had in Mr. Aulph's class when I'm in Spanish with some of my same classmates from 7th grade Spanish. Mr. Aulph, you will Be deeply missed and always remembered.
