I just learned of your Dad's passing a few minutes ago just by chance. I felt this pit in my stomach and a loss that was hard to put into words. I know I haven't seen your family in so many years. But, nonetheless, I cannot tell you how sad this makes me and how very sorry I am. I found myself immediately remembering all the wonderful memories and times spent with your Dad and Mom and the entire family

I found myself immediately remembering all the wonderful memories and times spent with your Dad and Mom and the entire family over the many years. All the card games, all the family events, all the Sunday dinners etc... Wow..those Sunday dinners - fabulous food, jokes that were neverending, and a feeling of belonging that was always present. I remember your Dad's special salad dressing. I would try to imitate it over the years, but it was never quite the same. Jim, I am so sorry and can only imagine how hard this is for you. Your Dad was beyond amazing and I hope you can smile when you think about the legacy that he left behind for you and the others. You are like him in so many ways. Teri, Maribeth, Denise, Kris, & Ed - I am so sad for all of you. Your Dad's presence was larger than life and his absence will be profoundly felt. Each one of you has some attribute of your Dad - some more than others. He lives in each of you and your children. Please tell your Mom how sorry I am for her loss. She and your Dad had one of those one-in-a-million, "love of each other's lives" type relationships. I think of you all from time to time and smile. I know that you will celebrate your Dad's life - am amazing man who will be remembered for all the ways he touched the lives of so many each and every day. I am a resident of Sugar Creek and only knew John through his position of Association President. What I do know about John is that he was a kind and caring person. During the few times that I dealt with him, he was always
smiling and cheerful. He served as President for many years.

At this difficult time, I wish to extend my sincere condolences to his family.
