Our services include personalized funeral arrangements designed to your specifications; life insurance for ages zero to 90; pre-need funeral arrangements; notary validation; and other options designed to meet your needs.
Brown’s Funeral Services, Inc. was founded by Thurston T. Brown, a licensed embalmer and funeral director who graduated from Echols College in Philadelphia, PA. Since 1990, he has been assisted by his daughter, Thurletta M. Brown-Gavins, a licensed funeral director and graduate of Duke University. Also on staff is John Powell of Vaughan, funeral attendant.

Irene Hawkins Fitz

Irene Frances Hawkins Fitz, daughter of the late Charles and Madgie Hawkins of Hollister, and the last of seven siblings, died Jan. 21, 2009. William Davis

Sgt. William Mack "Jack" Davis was the son of the late Jobe and Ida Davis. He was a deacon at Fork Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and was a faithful member until his death.
