"The best memory I have with Grandma was when she and Grandpa were watching us while mom and dad were gone on a trip or something. I must have been 8 or so. I remember Grandma taking me on a walk around our house in Vernal. Everything we walked by, Grandma pointed out its beauty. I remember seeing a tree that had purple flowers and I asked her if it was a lilac tree, thinking about a primary song that I liked 'My Heavenly Father Loves Me'. I can't remember if it was a lilac tree or not, but I remember learning to appreciate all the beautiful things around me, just outside my door. Grandma was always a kind gental woman and I am proud that she is my Grandma. I love you grandma! Say hi to Dad, Jeff, Wayne and Grandpa! I'll miss you!"

""Grandma, I love you and will miss you. I remember spending warm summer days together tending your flowers, especially the chrysanthemums, geraniums, and roses. Everytime I see honeycomb cereal I think of you and all the cookies you'd hide from grandpa! Watching the movie, Dot and the Kangaroo, always made me cry, but something I still remember. You were a great storyteller, along with grandpa. and a great cook too! I'll always be grateful to you and grandpa for letting me and a friend stay at your home for the summer during college break. You were as honest as they come even and a great example of strength, courage, kindness, and generosity. Thank you for all of the love and care for me over the years. I love you Grandma! Heidi"
