"Dear family of Mr. Meyer, we would like to send our sympathy at this time of sorrow. We had the pleasure of being neighbors with him for the past 9 years & our 3 boys enjoyed his company when they would go sit with him on his porch when the weather was fine. He always showed an interest in their sports & asked how they did. He will be greatly missed by us all!
Sincerely,
The Stewart Family

"Dear Family,
Our sincere condolences for your loss. Mr. Meyer was a kind and friendly neighbor. He would often walk over to see our baby and to chat about the current happenings in the neighborhood. He surely was fascinated with building and just simply how stuff worked. We will miss his bright attitude and friendly face.
Sincerely,
Ron and Megan Komraus"

"Grandpa Meyer was truly an amazing individual. Even though I grew up across the country from him, I still felt extremely close to him. We had many wonderful visits over the years with him and grandma. I am incredibly grateful he was able to make five separate trips to the Northwest over the past few years. His passion for life and his woodworking, endless curiosity, infectious laughter and smile, and that constant twinkle in his eye will never be forgotten. Grandpa had TWELVE grandchildren and had a tight bond with every one of us. He made each of us feel special and loved. I love you very much, grandpa. Please give Grandma a big hug and a kiss for me."
