Condolence & Memory Journal

Uncle Hooper was one of the most significant influences in my life. He and my father were like brothers and he took on a major role in mine and my siblings lives after our father died. He was a loving father that was there for his children and tried to make sure they were able to reach their potential and life goals. He was a loving and caring husband who was a positive role model on being a husband and a father. He was the first up and the last one to bed, always making sure his children were home safe before going to sleep. He was a successful farmer and he worked hard every day to provide for his family. He passed down a lot of knowledge to his children and anyone open to learn. He was always pulling for the underdog and demonstrated this through his love for others and his efforts to help make their lives better when they crossed his path. He was one of the strongest men I have known and he demonstrated this throughout his life and even during his illness. He was of the greatest generation, a soldier, that came home and made the world around him a better place. I Love and Miss You Hooper.
