Margaret was born on June 24, 1957 and passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019.

Margaret was a resident of Alamance, North Carolina at the time of passing.

Marti was born in Peoria, Illinois and was a graduate of Snider High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Visitation will be held at Rich & Thompson Funeral Service in Graham, NC, on Friday, March 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 16 at Noon at Elon Community Church in Elon, NC. Inurnment will be in the Saint Francis by the Sea Columbarium, Hilton Head Island, SC. Visitation at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home & Crematory from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on March 15, 2019.

Memorial donations may be made to her Alamance Community College memorial scholarship fund (http:// bit.ly/martischolarship ), Crossroads ( crossroadscares.org ), and Women's Resource Center ( wrcac.org.

Never met anyone more sincere and kind than Marti. I enjoyed getting to know her on the NCACPA Nonprofit Committee. She was one of a kind and will be missed dearly. Praying for peace and comfort for your family.

Marti was such a kind and caring person and an inspiration to others. Her love for her family and friends was genuine and sincere. She donated her time and service to the WA athletic boosters for several years and was so helpful. I will miss her smile and friendship! Prayers for her beloved family.
