Martha, Gretchen, and Karen - my sincere and deepest sympathy. Bob has and will always hold a special place in my heart - a true gentleman in every sense of the word. May the comfort of the Grace of God be with you in this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to Martha, Gretchen, and Karen. I last saw Bob when he buried my brother in law in October. We had planned to have lunch one day and it is my fault that i did not get to Fayetteville.
I have been friends with Bob since I was 15 and we were much closer than friends, more like brothers.
I am deeply grieved by his passing. Martha, you know how good Bob was to me, but he was so good to great numbers of people. I think he would be among the most loved people in Fayetteville.
Please know how much you are in my thoughts. He is one of those people that I thought would always.be there for me and would be the one to lower me into MacPherson's churchyard. I am bereft at his passing.
Love,
Don
