Mr Alford was born on July 11, 1941 and passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018.

Mr Alford was a resident of Elon, North Carolina at the time of passing.

Don was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. by Pastor Tommy Bright, Tommy Bason and Rev. Bobby Fann. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Other times they will be at the residence. Visitation at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home & Crematory from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on June 12, 2018.

Memorials may be made to the Hock Family Pavilion, 4023 N. Roxboro Rd., Durham, NC 27704 or to the Duke ALS Clinic, 932 Morreene Rd., Durham, NC 27705.
