Rose P. Santitoro, 86, of Apex, NC, formerly of Trenton, NJ, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at her home in Apex.
Rose was born September 4, 1930, in Trenton, NJ to the late Salvatore and Giovannina DiPasquale. She was a member of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Apex, NC. Rose was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who passionately loved her family. She loved to cook, and stayed active by working in mostly retail positions until she was 83 years old, but was most proud of her role as Manager of the McDonalds in Mercerville, NJ, in the 1970's where she was able to touch the lives of many young people. Many of which stayed in contact with her throughout her life. Rose was also a proud member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary in Cary, NC.
Rose was preceded in death by her brothers John and George DiPasquale who she adored. Brother-in-laws Al Santitoro and his wife Betty, Jerry Santitoro and his wife Noreena (Marge), Ralph Santitoro and his wife Theresa, Frank Santitoro and his wife Norma, Fred Santitoro and his wife Marge, Vincent DePaul and Albert Lanzoni; sister-in-laws Mary DiPasquale Ongaro, Lucy Muehleisen and her husband Joseph and Rachael Santitoro. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Anthony Gerald Santitoro; son, Tony Santitoro and his wife Robyn, two grandchildren Anthony Santitoro and his wife Jennifer, and Nicholas Santitoro; two great grandchildren, Ava Grace and Anthony Brantley Santitoro. She is also survived by her sister and best friend Theresa Pallotti and her husband Vincent, sisters Nellie Lanzoni and Connie Depaul; sister-in law Jennie DiPasquale and many special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 8:30-9:30 AM directly followed by a Funeral Mass on Wednesday May 10, 2017, at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, 151 Gropp Ave, Hamilton NJ, with burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
