Anne Janet Lewis Gill, of Williamsburg, VA went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2013 after a brief illness. Born June 7, 1944 in Corning, New York, Anne was predeceased by her loving husband of 35 years, Jack E. Gill; parents, Charles and Eleanor Swink Lewis; brother, Richard Lewis; sister, Beverly Bailey; brothers-in-law, Byron Eddy and Walter Little; and sister-in-law, Linda Lewis.
Anne leaves to cherish her memory her loving and caring daughter, Lisa (Randy) Rafferty; and grandsons, Joshua and Zachary Rafferty, all of Fishers, IN. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Eddy of Ocala, FL; and Sharon Little of Corning, NY; brothers, Byron Lewis of Painted Post, NY and Charles (Theresa) Lewis of Addison, NY; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Anne is survived by her compassionate best friends and caretaker, Pamela Kennedy of Williamsburg, VA; and her cherished Maltipoo named Daisy.
Anne was a 1962 graduate of Painted Post High School. She was an active member of Wellspring United Methodist Church in Williamsburg. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your local SPCA in Anne's memory would be sincerely appreciated.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 13 at 1:00 PM at Wellspring United Methodist Church, 4871 Longhill Rd, Williamsburg, VA with interment at the Presho Cemetery in Presho, NY at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at www.nelsencares.com.
