Anne Marnett, a native of Houston, TX, and resident of Denham Springs, LA, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 65. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Marnett, children, Misty Marnett Huffman and Christopher Ryan Marnett, son-in-law, Harold Huffman, daughter-in-law, Amber Marnett, grandsons, Jordan Lemon, Ayden Marnett, and Chantry Huffman, granddaughter, Leanne Huffman. She was preceded in death her parents, Alma and Roy Jones, and brothers, Joe Jones, Donnie Jones, and Pat Jones. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Denham Springs and a teacher in Livingston Parish School System for thirty years. Anne was a perfect, loving wife, mother, and "Mamaw". She loved her grandchildren, painting out on her porch, camping and spending time with family and friends. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Denham Springs from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Denham Springs.
