FORT WORTH -- Beverly Gayle Alvis, 62, went home to be with the Lord on January 29, 2013.

Service: 10 a.m. Monday at Christ Church, 5301 Altamesa Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76123. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation/Wake: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.

Beverly was born August 31, 1950, in Fort Worth, to Roy and Martha Alvis. She adored her daughters and their families. She was a member of Christ Church in Fort Worth, and she was most proud of her 29-Year award for working for the Government. She is loved and will be deeply missed, She touched many lives and hearts through her dedication to God , belief in Faith and strong will to love life.

Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Roy Alvis.

Survivors: Mother, Martha Henry and husband, Charles; daughter Michelle Brewer and fiance, Michael Cates; daughter, Marcie Goode and husband, Michael; grandsons, Justin and Mathew Goode; sisters, Linda Alvis and Kay Lewis; brother, Mike Alvis and wife, Janet; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
