Charles F. Osborn Sr., age 92, of Middletown, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born June 28, 1920 in Warren County, Ohio, the son of Carl Osborn and Jennie (Reynolds) Osborn. Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. He is survived by three daughters, Carol (Kenny), Diane (Jimmie), and Benita; six grandchildren, Kenny, Jason, Stephanie, Rachel, Whitney, and Silas; six great grandchildren, Joshua, Sydney, Gavin, Stryker, Sadie, and Vina; and three sisters, Annabelle Clark, Jennie Runyun, and Laura Burton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Osborn in 2012; one son, Charles Osborn, Jr., and his parents. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Woodside Cemetery, (Section 26), with Mr. Floyd Rockwell officiating and military honors by the U.S. Army. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community of Christ Church, 2424 South Sutphin Street. Middletown, Ohio 45044.
