Clara Jimenez

Clara's Dad, my Uncle Pete, and my Dad, Joe, were brothers. We lived on the same street "Vancouver Avenue" just about one block away. Clara and I were first cousins. Clara went to beauty school and worked out of her home styling hair. She came to my home and styled my hair for my senior picture that came out in my annual and then she styled my hair for my baccalaureate ceremony at Garfield High School in 1967. Clara's daughter, Christina and I used to play together when we were young and continued to stay close as we grew older. I have so many wonderful memories with Clara and her family.
