Clyde Moye Dawson, 89, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Willow Creek Nursing Home.

Miss Clyde was born in Wayne County on August 12, 1923 to the late Owen Emery Dawson and Myrtie Lillian Moye Dawson. For over 52 years, she worked as secretary for area churches and retiring from First Assembly of God, where she was a member.

Friends may gather at Seymour Funeral Home on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. for a viewing followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Ralph Painter officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Miss Clyde is survived by her sister, Evelyn Dawson Martin of Goldsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
