David H. Russell was called home to be with his Lord February 3, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Russell; brother, Butch Russell; sister, Rose Gianotti. He leaves behind his loving partner, Joanne Alexander; his daughter, Lynn (Mark) Younts; his father, Philip Ray Russell; his brothers, Marshall (Lori) Russell, Mike (Caroline) Russell; his sister, Lisa (Bob) England; his sister-in-law, Shirley Russell; as well as many loving stepchildren, grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Dave suffered a long battle with stomach cancer with such strength and dignity. He is now free of pain and in the hands of God. His family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday, February 13 from 1 to 2:30 PM at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., Wyoming. Visitation will close with the sharing of scripture and prayer at 2:30 by Pastor John Gooch. A luncheon will follow directly after the memorial. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lacks Cancer Center or Faith Hospice.
