Doris N. Tribut, 80 of Mt. Zion, IL passed away at 1:40 a.m., Sunday January 27, 2013 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

In keeping with Doris's wishes cremation rites will be accorded and the family will celebrate her life with private family services. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion, IL is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois Charitable Fund. Doris was born on October 30, 1932 in Cumberland, Maryland the daughter of Harry and Mildred (Scarlet) Whisner. She married Carl A. Tribut on August 25, 1951. They celebrated sixty-two years of marriage together. She was an avid bingo player.

Surviving is her husband: Carl of Mt. Zion, IL; daughter: Carla Dignan and her husband Paul of Decatur, IL; brothers: Pete Whisner and his wife Tootie of Cumberland, MD and Paul Whisner and his wife Jean of York, PA; grandchildren: Paul Dignan III and his wife Yvette of rural Decatur, IL, Kelley Bean and her husband Seth of Arthur, IL, Dr. Leslie Dignan-Moore and her husband Eric of Springfield, IL, and Carl Dignan of Decatur, IL; great-grandchildren: Kelsey Bean, James Bean, Madison Moore, Abigail Moore, and Jordan Dignan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Donald.
