Born in Ecorse, Dorothy was the daughter of Adolph & Oshel (West) Renaud. She married Arthur Alva Pluff in 1949. She then married Robert VanBrimer on June 9, 1969. Sadly he preceded her in death in September of 2006. During Dorothy's career she worked for Ogden Foods, Monsanto and managed the kitchen at Trenton Towers. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockwood and Swan Boat Club in Newport.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory her children: Donald (Shirley) Pluff of Hollister, Missouri, Charles VanBrimer of Gibraltar, Kenneth (Gail) VanBrimer of Mio, Sandra Pluff-Bosk of Escanaba, Mary (Bob) Pluff-Jacobs of Carleton, and Yvonne VanBrimer of Lincoln Park; as well as her grandchildren: Don Pluff Jr., Lonia Beauchamp, Shannon Hodgins, Dolly Stevens, Jennifer Jacobs-Snead, and Tamara Pluff-Chilcutt; step grandchildren: Christopher, Trisha, Jennifer, Shawn, Timarie and Charles Jr.; as well as numerous great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Robert, Dorothy was preceded in death by a son Butch Pluff and a sister Mary Hurst.
