Enrique Torres beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather went to be with the Lord August 1, 2011 at the age of 86. Enrique joined the Army in 1943. He then attended Trinity University. In 1949 he began his employment in civil service retiring from Lackland AFB after 32 years of employment in the accounting and finance department. He took on a second career as a private realtor until the age of 82. He is survived by his wife, Lily E. Torres; children, George H. Torres and wife Corina; Rosalinda A. Ross and husband Dr. Mark Ross, Washington Crossing, PA and Rita M. Torres, McKinney, TX; grandchildren, George H. Torres II and wife, Maria, Jennifer R. Schuler and husband John, Orlando, FL, Michael Torres and wife Tanya, Jonathan W. Ross, Joshua J. Ross both of Washington Crossing, PA, Garrett D. Tucker, McKinney, TX; great grandchildren, Jorge Enrique Torres, Lily Kaitlin Schuler, Maria Valentina Torres and Julie Elizabeth Torres. SERVICES An evening service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday August 3, 2011 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. A graveside service will be held the follow day, Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be addressed to:Brooke Army Medical Center Attn: Gift Coordinator, 3551 Roger Brooke Drive, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234 in his memory.
