Geraldine E. Allcox
December 13, 1934 - February 24, 2013

Geraldine Edwards Aycock Allcox, 78, of La Grange, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Geraldine was born December 13, 1934 in Pitt County to the late Coley Edwards and Blanche Harris Edwards. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Milford B. Aycock and Herman G. Allcox; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Aycock, sister, Louise Stroud; and a grandchild, Randa Tyndall.

A service of remembrance will be held Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 1 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with Rev. Van Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

Geraldine is survived by a two sons, Kenneth Aycock and wife, Tracy of La Grange, Brantley Aycock of La Grange; daughter, Donna Barnette and husband, Terry of Hugo; brother, Marvin Edwards and wife, Shirley of Kinston; two sisters, Mary Alice Mitchell of Grifton and Margaret Smart of Michigan; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of her daughter, 2695 Grifton-Hugo Road, Hookerton. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rousefh.com. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, La Grange.
