Mr. Gregory Manson Powers, 49, of Adel, GA, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. He was born on January 13, 1964 in Adel, GA to Robert Manson Powers (late) and Barbara Butler Powers. He lived in Washington, D.C. for many years, and the past several years in Brunswick, GA. Mr. Powers was a carrier for the United States Postal Service.

Mr. Powers is survived by his mother, Barbara Butler Powers of Adel; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Alan and Katherine Powers of Alpharetta, GA, and Eric and Mary Powers of Naylor, GA; one sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Donnie Pearson of Nashville, GA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Manson Powers.

A graveside funeral service was held for Mr. Powers on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Pleasant Cemetery in Berrien County with Rev. Jerry Jett officiating. Condolences may be expressed to thwe family online at
