Grover Linwood Denson, 92, passed away, Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Nash Grove Manor, Nashville, N.C. He was born November 5, 1916.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Callie Columbus and Bessie Whitfield Denson; his brothers, Roy, Herbert, and Elbert Denson; his sister, Marie Evans.
He is survived by his nieces; Bessie Leigh Denson and George Alma Edwards of Momeyer; his nephews, Wayne and J.W. Evans of Rocky Mount, Daniel Denson of Las Vegas, Nevada and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm at Red Oak United Methodist Church, Red Oak, N.C. Funeral service will follow at 2 pm at Red Oak United Methodist Church with Rev. Luis F. Reinoso officiating. Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery.
