Mrs. Inez Parrish Wood, 86, of North 10th Street, Erwin died Monday evening February 11, 2013 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Wood was born September 4, 1926 in Harnett Co. daughter of the late Jack Parrish & Irene Altman Autry.
She was retired from Byrd's Food in Erwin and then worked for Carolina American Tourist as a hostess.
Mrs. Wood was a member of Erwin Chapel Penetecostal Free Will Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and Senior Citizens Group.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday February 14, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at Erwin Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hayes & Rev. Condary Ellis Officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Robert Allen Wood and a Brother, Johnny Fred Parrish.
Surviving: A Daughter: Arettia Ann Wood Monds & (husband) Tommy of Erwin, N.C.
2 Sons: Bruce Allen Wood & (wife) Terry of Benson, N.C.
Larry Wayne Wood & (wife) Brenda of Erwin, N.C.
Sister: Dorothy Barnes & (husband) James of Garner, N.C.
11 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren
The family will receive friends 6 - 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Cromartie Miller and Lee Funeral Home, at the home of Arettia & Tommy Monds, 103 North 10th Street,, Erwin, N.C.
