Ivey E. Quinn, Jr.
May 31, 1970- February 19, 2013
La Grange-Ivey Elber Quinn Jr., 42, of La Grange, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in Big Springs, Texas. Ivey was born May 31, 1970 in Lenoir County to Freda Mae Jones of Seven Springs and the late Ivey Elber Quinn, Sr. Ivey served his country in both the United States Army and United States Navy. He was presently working with Mastec as a Class A Lineman. Ivey enjoyed collecting antiques, NASCAR collectibles and gardening.
A service of remembrance will be held Friday, February 22, 2013 at 7 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Penny officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 10 a.m. from Seven Springs Cemetery.
In addition to his mother, Ivey is survived by his fianceé , Joy Barnett; son, Koty Turner; three sisters, Melissa Miller and husband, Randall of Pink Hill, Sandra Pipkin and husband, Randy of Goldsboro, and Angela Quinn of Seven Springs; his faithful canine companion, Little Man; along with a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday following the service of remembrance. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rousefh.com. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, La Grange.
