Marvin, Jr., J., died Tuesday January 29, 2013 at North Crest Medical Center. J. was born December 1, 1956 in Paducah, KY to Jim and Karen Marvin Sr. of Paducah. He was an active member of Springfield First United Methodist Church, a Mason with the Western Star #9 Lodge in Springfield and worked for Hail and Cotton as a Tobacco dealer. J. was also a member of the New Chapel Men's Club and the Hardees Breakfast Club In addition to his parents J. is survived by his wife, Leslye C. Marvin of Springfield, TN, sons, Daniel Charles (Heather) Marvin of Davenport, IA, Michael Paul (Jamie) Marvin of White House, TN, brother, Ken Marvin of Paducah, KY, mother and father in-law, June and Charles Magness of Mayfield, KY, grandchildren, Ashton Lee Marvin, Landon James Marvin, Avery Claire Marvin and James Chandler Marvin and "Boots the Cat". The family will receive visitors on Thursday January 31, 2013 from 3-7 pm with a Masonic service at 7 pm at the Robertson County Funeral Home, 2201 Memorial Blvd, Springfield, TN 37172. 615-384-0036
