James H. Miller James H. Miller, 64, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, passed away Feb. 18, 2013, at Hillcrest Hospital surrounded by his family. Born Sept. 3, 1948, in Cleveland, he had lived in Mentor-on-the-Lake for the past 39 years. He was a member of the OHSAA and the NIAAA. Mr. Miller was a retired athletic director and teacher from Eastlake North High, retiring after 35 years of service. Survivors are his loving wife of 42 years, Juanita Miller (Powaski); children, Adam Miller and James Aaron (Michelle) Miller; grandchildren, Morgan, Ethan, Alec and Jonathan Miller; siblings, Janet Grasso and Jerry Miller; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Irene Miller; brother, Jack Miller. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
