Joyce Baker, 58, of Columbia, MO, passed away January 19, 2013.

She was born April 28, 1954 in Columbia, Missouri.
Joyce was a very caring woman, always putting others first. She loved her family and attended Living Faith Church regularly.

She leaves behind a wonderful husband, David Baker, of Columbia, MO; four children: David E. McKenzie of Springfield, MO, Ryan M. McKenzie of Columbia, MO, Randy Baker and Bridgette Bennett, both of Fordland, MO; 12 siblings: Barbara Swift (C. W.) of Waynesville, KY, Bo Creason (Cathy) and Red Creason (Linda) both of Columbia, MO, Linda Schomaker (Jerry) of Shelbina, MO, Donna Sheets (Kenny) of Columbia, MO, Fred Martie (Penny) of Ashland, MO, Donna Brown (Jesse) of Garden City, MO, Wayne Martie (Cindy) and Mary Lynes, both of Columbia, MO, Linda Furlong (Edward) of Higbee, MO, Nelson Creason, Jr. (Connie) of Harrisburg, MO and Sandra Cox of Centralia, MO; eight grandchildren: Korey Michael McKenzie of Fulton, MO, Danielle Baker and Misty Baker, both of California, Dylan Murdock and Sarah Burks, both of Fordland, MO, Landen James Riley of Columbia, Coraline Rae McKenzie of Cape Girardeau, MO Liam Matthew McKenzie of Columbia, MO; sister-in-law, Patricia Davidson of Springfield, MO; two step-mothers: Elizabeth Boggs of Centralia, MO and Lenora Martie of Columbia, MO, as well as numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Martie, Gladys Irene Martie, and Nelson Creason, her mother-in-law Lena Baker, her father-in-law, Jimmie Baker, two brothers: Raymond Nelson and John Arthur, a brother-in-law, Johnny Davidson, and grandchild, Anna Lee McKenzie

There will be a visitation from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home, with a funeral service at 11:00 am on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be in Fordland Cemetery at noon on Saturday, January 26, 2013.
