Miss Katharine Anne Dozier, 79, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 14, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She will be remembered in a private graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville, N.C. to be held at a later date.
Born in Dade County, Florida, most of her early life was lived in the Nashville N.C. area. Settling in Columbia, S.C, she was a school teacher, and from that career she retired.
The daughter of the late Will Green Dozier and Leah Murray Dozier, Miss Dozier is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Blount of the home in Mount Olive; a niece, Wimberly Raynor and husband, Mark, of La Grange; three nephews, Christopher Blount of Mount Olive, Bobby Liles of Rocky Mount, and Will Raynor of La Grange; and a cousin, Allilian Barr of Florida.
