Ken was a man with a deep heart of generosity and I know he will be missed by many. He touched my life through his work at Carnage Middle and the generosity of his time and efforts. Even while deployed, he worked to volunteer his time for the school from Virginia and I will never forget that generosity of spirit. To all those who loved and knew him, I am sure your lives were blessed.

"God is our refuge and strenght, a very present help in trouble."
It was a pleasure to sit and talk with Ken about new ideas and new ventures. I greatly appericated the mentoring and fellowship he provided me. Ken will be missed and thought of often. Again, I say thanks for the opportunities I had to learn from him.

My deepest condolenscences to Mrs. Diggins and the entire family during this time. My last conversation with Ken was on Thursday of this past week. We were to get together tomorrow or Tuesday to look at ordering items for an upcoming men's conference on March 27th. I met Commander Kenneth Diggins in 1991 right after Desert Storm. We both remained in the same unit (Military Sealift Command) until we both retired. I remember many trips we made to Wilmington, Washington, DC - Norfolk, VA and other areas. We were always looking for opportunities to go back on active duty. We both loved and missed the Navy very much. I always respected Mr. Diggins the way he moved up through the ranks in his military career. He went from enlisted to officer never forgetting where he came from. Enlisted as well as officers always had uttermost respect for him. Enlisted could always come to him and talk to him about any problems that we may have had with some of the other enlisted or officers and he always had a peaceful solution. Mr. Diggins love for God was always made clear, yet still allowing himself to remain professional but taking a stand and everyone that knew him knew he loved God (Jesus Christ). In closing I would like to say, you (Ken Diggins) will truly be missed my many.
Farewell and following seas my shipmate

Hello. My heart goes to the entire family. I met Ken through the NCCU Alumni Association and I've had the privilege of working with Ken to create his business website and the "New" NCCU Raleigh-Wake chapter website, which just went LIVE a few weeks ago. I met him for the first time 2 weeks ago at the Council Meeting at Central.
I say to the family, from day one, Ken deposited nothing but good things in me concerning business and just me as a man! I appreciated him in a very short amount of time.
I pray that his wife and all his family are in God's hands right now and that he will continue to sustain you in this LIFE!
God bless.
