Kevin L. "Bubba" Baker, 39, of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013, in his home.
He was born on October 4, 1973 to Richard M. and Barbara A. (Lewis) Baker in South Bend, Indiana, and has lived in New Carlisle his entire life.
Kevin was formerly employed by Nyloncraft in Mishawaka, Indiana; and prior to that, Accuride in South Bend, Indiana.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Barbara Baker of New Carlisle, Indiana; his grandmother, Evelyn Lewis of New Carlisle, Indiana; a sister, Shelly (Shawn) Morris of Celina, Ohio; a brother, Jeffery Baker of Hudson Lake, Indiana; five nieces & nephews, Daniel, Thomas, and Rachel Morris; and Bryce and Alexa Baker.
Kevin was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in South Bend, Indiana. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces & nephews-especially playing Nintendo Wii and also Legos with them.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1501 W. Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN, where friends and family may visit one hour prior to services.
