LILLIAN MELENDEZ Lillian Marie Melendez was born July 7, 1945 in Redlands CA. She passed at the age of 67 on January 30, 2013. She faithfully worked at Pacific Gas and Electric as an active member of the IBEW. Many knew her as their loving G.G.Mom, Dona Lilly, Nana, and Auntie. She was a strong and educated woman who graduated from Artesia High School, in 1963; she then relocating to Hinkley, CA where she resided till death. She is survived by her two brothers and sister; James Salazar, Bobby Salazar, Sally Cornejo and six daughters; Martha Ceniceros, Joyce Ramirez, Audrey Oden, Samantha Nunez, Alexandra Peralta, Santana Peralta Tafoya, nine Grandchildren; Michael Knuckles, Tina Weston, Tinasha Romero, Destiny Quijada, Lisa Scallera, Isaiah Oden, Steven Swope Jr., Jose Murguia, Nidia Nunez, and twelve Great-Grandchildren Michael Quijada, Kaiden Weston, Jade Romero, Kyson Weston, Maison Scallera, Jacquelyn Romero, Kiyra Quijada, Evan Knuckles, Ella Weston, Lucas Knuckles, Jewels Lilly Romero, Kendall ScalIera .Lillian is preceded in death by her loving husband, Alcario Melendez, mother, Bertha Sanchez, father Frank Salazar, mother in-law, Florencia Melendez. She will be sadly Missed by many nieces, nephews, and everyone who knew her. The Viewing and Rosary will be held at Mead Mortuary from 5 pm to 9 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 with the Funeral Mass at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at 10 am.
