Mark Henry Kooke entered into eternal rest on January 16, 2013 after a brief illness at the age 58. Cherished husband of Cynthia "Cindy" Weigand Kooke for 31 years. Loving father of Mindi Germaine Kooke, Lindi Kooke Senez, Kelsi Lynn Kooke and the late Bryan and Ryan Kooke. Father-in-law of David Senez, Jr. Beloved son of Joyce Helber Kooke and Herman Joseph Kooke. Brother of Karen K. Soulet, Cheryl K. Saul, and Gary H. Kooke. Proud grandfather of Isabella Maria Bazile and Preston Bryan Senez. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Mark was native of New Orleans and a long time resident of St. Bernard Parish. He was a graduate of Chalmette High School, Class of 1972 and was a member of the New Orleans Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 60.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the family to assist with medical expenses.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation to be held at
ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private.
